On August 27, 2020, Hurricane Laura swept through Southwest Louisiana and left a path of destruction behind. On October 9, 2020, Hurricane Delta inflicted additional pain on Southwest Louisiana. The Louisiana Saturday Night Foundation was created by Louisiana's to help those who lost property to have temporary housing to live in while rebuilding what was lost.
